Join the Haringvliet expedition

From 1 June through September 2019, the Linquenda II and Hoeksche Vaart ferries cross the Haringvliet in the weekends. In the summer months, the ferries even sail from Tuesday through Sunday.

They take you to the Tiengemeten nature reserve, stopping at Hellevoetsluis, Stellendam, Middelharnis, Willemstad, Numansdorp, Stad aan ’t Haringvliet, and Nieuwendijk.

A ferry ride makes for the ultimate sailing and nature experience on and around the Haringvliet. Go for a beautiful walk on unpaved roads on the Tiengemeten nature island, search for beaver tracks, or quietly observe the Scottish highland cattle. Or visit the Scheelhoek nature reserve and go to Tij, the extraordinary bird observatory with a view of the countless birds above and on the banks of the Haringvliet. Hike through Goeree’s dunes in the Kwade Hoek nature reserve and discover countless bird and plant species on the unpaved paths and plank bridges, including rare orchids.

You can easily book tickets for ferries via the website.
