Falling Star Tour
Sailing beneath a dark starry sky and seeing hundreds of falling stars. The opportunity for this arises on 13 August with an exclusive sailing tour on the Wadden Sea. This is Holland’s darkest area and therefore one of the best locations to see the stars.
The Willem Jacob, your sailing ship, will take you to sea from the island of Ameland. It will drop anchor in the Wadden Sea so you can experience the quiet and darkness. All you need to see the falling stars is a clear sky. Under ideal circumstances, there are dozens to hundreds every hour. A World Heritage Guide will tell you more about the importance of darkness for nature in the Wadden.
