Stargazing on the Kampina heathland

Be all eyes and ears: you may just hear an owl or see a bat or roe. After all, nocturnal life at the vast Kampina nature reserve in Van Gogh National Park can be full of surprises. Let’s head out into the dark. The ranger and a star expert will show you the way, both on the ground and in the air.

All of your senses are heightened when you are outside in nature at night. Do you hear that rustling over there and do you see those two glowing eyes? The ranger will tell you everything about nocturnal life on the Kampina. The star expert will familiarize you with the wondrous world of astronomy, so zip up your warm coat, listen and watch carefully.
